Over spring break Heather F. served at the Kibaale Community School, located in Kibaale, a very small rural town in the South of Uganda. This Community School is committed to providing quality Christian education to the neediest of the needy. The school provides programs for primary and secondary students, as well as a vocational school that provides training in carpentry, tailoring, catering and construction.
While there, we brought teaching supplies to the staff, led devotions in classes, participated in chapels, taught at the daycare program and organized and led a sports day. We helped at an immunization clinic; every week the school’s medical staff go into the community to immunize babies who otherwise would not receive that care. We also spent one day building a mud hut for an elderly man in the community whose house had fallen down.
God is working in Kibaale in remarkable ways. The Kibaale Community School is changing lives and in turn the community, by reaching out to help those families whose children do not attend the school. For more information, or to sponsor a child please visit www.paoutreach.net.
