The Willoughby Church Community Garden, located at 20525 72 Avenue, has operated since spring 2013. The garden, located on the unceded, ancestral lands of the Coast Salish peoples, is operated by the Willoughby Church. A small group of people from the church provides oversight of the garden and is responsible for setting guidelines, organizing events, communicating with gardeners, and monitoring the cleanliness and safety of the garden.
Currently, the garden consists of 50 raised gardening beds, many of which were installed through grants from the Township of Langley. The Woodshed Lumber Company, Bevo Farms and Burnco Landscape Supply also provided materials and discounts for the construction of the garden boxes.
