Widgeon Woes

Well, you know when you plan an event in late May far in advance you hope for sunshine, but guess what - we camped out on the rainiest day of the year!

The kids did great and we stayed safe and dry, but the rising river was too much for us and we canoed back early in the torrential rains.  We were ready for rain and the kids were having fun but safety comes first...
