In March 2015 Jamie-Lynn R. participated in short term mission work at Gondolikhethkwa Christian School in South Africa with a small group of students and adult chaperones from Langley Christian School. While there she participated in giving lessons and mingling with the students. In addition she helped teach about Canada to the younger grades and about engineering to the grade nines. Together they built bridges out of Popsicle sticks and held a contest to see whose bridge was the strongest. With the other students she also helped to lead chapel. Jamie-Lynn is thankful for the opportunity to expand her worldview and come to understand a little more about how people live differently in other parts of the world.
