Offering for weeks 1 & 2 of November:
The Special Offering for this month is World Renew - World Hunger: 2.4 billion people around the world aren't sure whether they'll be able to feed their families today. But we can be part of God's great work of justice and mercy. Your gifts support families around the world who are planting hope and ending hunger!
World Renew's World Hunger campaign is all about possibilities: the crops that conservation agriculture can yield, the funds that savings groups can help provide for an emergency, and the fruit that innovative techniques like aquaponics can grow.
With your gift, you not only provide families with nourishment—but also with the opportunity to educate their children, start new businesses, and save for the future. With enough food, families can thrive.
You are invited to donate to this worthy cause via the offering or click here to give through the Tithley website. (World Renew - World Hunger)
For more information about World Renew, contact our church’s World Renew ambassador at liztolkamp@gmail.com .
* The Deacons do two Special Offerings per month, World Renew - World Hunger will run for the first two weeks, with the Ministry to Seafarers for weeks 3&4. You are invited to give to either or both offerings as they will both be available on tithe.ly for the whole month of November! *

Thrive Faith Formation Tip - During this week, the global church commits to praying for resolutions to the growing problem of world hunger. The World Food Program (wfpusa.org) tells us that “up to 783 million people worldwide are facing chronic hunger. That means one in ten people are not consuming enough food to lead an active, healthy life.” Each day of the coming week, pick a different country to pray for—asking that increased resources may be found, that food may be shared, and that all of God’s children may flourish and thrive.
