Offering for weeks 1 & 2 of September:

One of our special offerings this month supports our Denominational Shares: ReFrame Ministries (formerly Back to God hour). Their vision is that the lives and worldviews of all people around the globe will be transformed by God's gospel message. Relying on the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Reframe creates contextual media resources, such as the Today & Kid's Corner, that proclaim the gospel, disciple believers, and strengthens the church throughout the world in 10 major languages. This work takes place through their four core strategies: church rooted, major languages, context driven and relationship- focused. To learn about what our denominational ministry is doing, please visit ReFrame's website.

You are invited to donate through the offering plate or click here to give through Tithley (ReFrame Ministries)

* The Deacons now do two Special Offerings per month, ReFrame Ministries will run for the first two weeks, with Willoughby Church Benevolent Fund for weeks 3&4.  You are invited to give to either or both offerings as they will both be available on tithe.ly for the whole month of September! *

Thrive Faith Formation Tip - Labour Day marks the beginning of a new season of school, church life, and work. As you engage in new and familiar activities this week, reflect on where you see God at work. Where have you witnessed love in action? Where have you seen people who are sad and lonely being befriended, those who are in need receiving help, and those who are excluded included? Make a list of the ways you see God at work in your life and in the lives of the people around you, and give thanks to God for God’s ongoing love for the world.
