June Special Offering: This is the last Sunday to give to this worthy cause! This month our Special Offering is for The King’s University, located in Edmonton, Alberta. It offers exceptional liberal arts education from a Christian perspective and serves students from across Canada and around the world. They believe that the world is studied best from the knowledge that it was created and belongs to God. Being founded in the Christian faith, they try to reflect Christ’s love and grace to all members of their community, leaving students prepared for a future of bringing renewal and reconciliation in every walk of life.
Kid's Summer Camp: Join us for our kids’ drop-in summer camp, Thursday mornings only, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm, July 13 – Aug 10, for kids ages 4 through Grade 5. Feel free to bring a friend! Our summer camp is filled with activities that will help your child explore what it means to have compassion for themselves, for others, and for the world. Using Psalm 104, participants will learn how God provides for his world, what all living things need to live – shelter, food, water, air, and community – and how they can participate in caring for God’s creation. Meal Hosting: The Young Adults have made their schedule for the next few months and would love to continue the tradition of having their dinner and devotions at church members households. Willoughby Church Connect: You are invited to a Church Connect Event from, Friday, June 23, 5 pm – Sunday, June 25 ending with pancake breakfast for everyone and anyone who comes on Sunday morning at 9 am. Blood Donor Clinic: We will be hosting a Blood Donor Clinic on Tuesday, July 4th starting at 1pm. If you are able, please join in saving lives together by donating blood. Appointments are necessary and can be booked at blood.ca.
Indigenous Ministry: Hearts Exchanged: This Fall - Hearts Exchanged is a learning and action journey designed to equip Reformed Christians to engage with Indigneous people as neighbours.
