Public Lecture - Christian University Education in Times of Pandemic: Monday, Nov. 2, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm via Zoom. There is a deep commitment to justice that runs through our veins as an institution and as a community of learners. If you have been following the public lecture series, justice is more than righting wrongs (which is important). It speaks to the very core of how we experience life together as a university community. So, how do we understand justice in a university context? How do we know we are on the right path, particularly in this time of pandemic and in our present context? Each university has its own culture and language. Much of which is implicit and needs to be examined from time to time. In this lecture, we will explore how justice is understood at King’s, and ways we are pursuing our vision to help build a more humane, just, and sustainable world. Presenter: Dr. Melanie Humphreys, President of The King’s University. Click here for more information and to register.
