New Online Giving Platform
It's finally here! Willoughby Church is using the online giving platform, Tithe.ly, to make it easy for you to give to Willoughby Church's ministries and our special offerings.
Tithe.ly is a Christian company that specializes in providing church tithing, payments, management, and administration. We are very grateful for this product that is affordable, friendly, and easy to use for everyone.

1. Can I designate my giving online like I can on my cheques?
Yes! We are in the early stages of getting Tithe.ly fully operational with our administration, but we already have the ability to designate your funds to the Willoughby Ministries Budget (the general budget) and our special offering to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank. Remember, the Canadian government is matching those gifts 4 to 1!
2. Will my giving be tracked for tax receipt purposes?
Yes! Our bookkeeper is a whiz and will be tracking all online donations as well as regular donations just like we always do! No need to worry!
3. Is Tithe.ly secure?
Yes! In fact, because we are located in Canada, Tithe.ly is about as secure as you can get. They use industry leading companies to store their data and process payments. Read more here
4. Can I set up recurring giving?
You sure can! On the payment form there is a little checkbox that you can click to set up a recurring gift! Then you won't forget.
5. Wow, this all sounds amazing. Surely this can't be cheap...
You are right, it is amazing! And, it is quite affordable. Tithely offers us a great deal as pre-existing clients of their website company that we use, and they charge a small transaction fee of every donation. About 3.5% to cover the transaction costs.

If you would you like you can even cover the fees so the church doesn’t have to. Just check the “cover fees” box when donating online.
