The central American country of Guatemala is the poorest nation in Central America. There are practically no social services available from the Government, especially for disabled persons.
Many of them end up on the street as beggars.
If you need a wheelchair or walker and you can’t afford one, the stark truth is, you don’t get one.
This past February, our group of volunteers from Willoughby Church gave 30 disabled folks young and old, male and female, a wheelchair for free.
Imagine what a difference that will make in those 30 lives!
We thank God for the generosity of the people in this congregation who provided the funds.
