Covenant Kids Christian Daycare Angel Breakfast

The Covenant Kids Angel Breakfast is held every year during the Christmas season to give the Daycare families an opportunity to visit together, witness the Christmas story as told by the children and enjoy the hospitality of Willoughby Church.

This year’s event, held on December 9 was attended by over 200 people. More than 25 Elders, Deacons, staff, and Daycare Admin Team members from Willoughby Church came out to cook and serve the families. The Fellowship Hall was packed with people for breakfast and the hallways were abuzz with kids doing simple crafts while parents and grandparents visited with one another, the Daycare staff and church members.

The children put on a wonderful re-enactment of the Christmas story and listened captivated while Pastor Ed and Pastor Curtis spoke to the families about the love of Jesus and the opportunities to become more involved in the life of Willoughby Church.

The Spirit was visibly present through all the activities and was working in the hearts of those who came. One grandfather, who has attended 7 Angel Breakfasts while his grandchildren have been enrolled at Covenant Kids, remarked that "this was the best one yet."
