BEACH DAY! // Serve Blog

Today was one of the coldest days yet in Victoria while we have been here. I know, such a great way to start a blog but, it’s true. Earlier this morning we got to see an amazing castle, it was even more amazing since X-Men was filmed on that property.

Finally, after an hour drive we arrived at Mystic Beach. I was not looking forward to the beach when we were told that it was going to be a rock beach. We hiked down to the beach and it turned out to be a partly sand and partly rock beach! Much better than I thought it would be. When we got there clouds were covering the sun, which would have made it not nearly as fun! Thought the day the clouds started to move away and the sun started beating down on us. The water was extremely cold! I went in and as soon as I went under my body was numb. I got out and it almost felt like the sun was burning my whole body in less than a minute! Anyway, as you may be able to tell, today was pretty awesome! We all have made quite some friends and as of right now, we are playing many different games with them. Well, not me, but almost everybody else.
