We will be hosting the AFRICANCHILDREN’SCHOIR™ at Willoughby Christian Reformed Church on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at 7:00pm.
A note from the Choir:
"Thank you so much for arranging accommodations for the AFRICANCHILDREN’SCHOIR™. As you might imagine, there are several important considerations we need to address when sending our children into host family homes. We thank you for your adherence to our guidelines and we hope you will appreciate our intention to provide safe and appropriate housing for our children and staff."

- 2 homes with 2 girls and one female chaperone each 1
- home for male bus driver* (*or can be placed in a home with one of the boy groups)
Housing Guidelines:
Because the children stay in many different homes during their tour of North America, it is imperative we provide them with stability and security by housing them with our adult chaperones. The adults traveling with the Choir have become the children’s family. The following are specific rules which must be followed when housing the children:
- Our children are never sent to a host family home alone. They are always in a group of two or more.
- We never send boys and girls to the same home. Our female chaperones may be sent home with boys. Please have a separate room/sleeping area for the chaperone.
- Our children are not to sleep in the same room as members of the host family (including host family children).
- Our children do not like to sleep in rooms by themselves. They will sleep quite comfortably with two in a double bed or three in a queen size bed.
- A single person is welcome to host. Adult chaperone and/or children of the same sex will be assigned to them.
- All host homes should be within 30 minutes of the church and the family’s schedule should allow the children to be dropped off at 9:45am on the morning after a concert and 8:45am on other days. This will ensure that the children receive adequate rest.
