You are invited to join a day of learning and growing together! Indigenous scholar Rev. Prof. Ray Aldred will present on the history of indigenous and settler relations, and on themes of justice and reconciliation from scripture. We will consider how we want to respond as a community of Christian Reformed Churches.

Along with the goal of knowledge and   awareness, this Learning Day will help      prepare us for the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) of Canada that comes to Vancouver this September. The TRC hopes to “guide and inspire First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples and Canadians in a process of truth and healing leading toward reconciliation and renewed relationships based on mutual understanding and respect."
